SNCH- Islamkot Tharparkar Pediatric unit Phase 1 comprising of 3 beded emergency, 3 Beded special care unit and 6 Beded General Pediatric ward is almost ready to be started.
Prominant features that may help in provision of quality and good care. That are still not available in most of hospital in interior sindh including karachi.
1-Having all points centralized oxygen and suction unit.
2- Multiparameter monitors equiped in special care for continues monitoring of vitals of life and every heart beat.
3. Infusion pumps and syringe pump to provide adequate and appropriate amount of glucose, fluids, electrolytes and high risk medication.
4. Uninterrupted power supply.
5. Telemedicine facility for expert opinion in critical conditions.
Phase 2 is Secondary care nursery and Neonatal intensive care unit.
It all needs dedicated man power which can be part of a big change.
Inauguration is planned in start of coming month along with multi speciality Pediatric Specialist camp.
